Sonoran Sunrise is a trade name for an eye-catching red and green gem material. It occurs naturally as a rock composed mainly of bluish-green chrysocolla and bright red cuprite, that color combination suggests a green landscape under a brilliant red sky.
The Sonora Sunrise stone is quite a new stone on the market for the mine was open in 2006. Its history is very short. It is said that since 2011, it is more and more difficult to find it, moreover with good blue and red color qualities.
