Around Camp .. Our Little Big Town

Welcome to my blog page! I thought I would start out by posting a current photo of our "Little Big Town", West Yellowstone, Montana. Snow pack is really good so far, this winter, perhaps 4 to 5 feet has fallen and it has settled to around 32". The temperatures have been "chilly", some mornings as cold as 20 to 25 below with highs in the teens. This image is of the Union Pacific Dining Lodge in the historic district on Yellowstone Ave. The first eating house was known as "The Beanery", it was constructed in 1908, approximately 1,000 feet west of the depot. The building housed the kitchen and the serving area.
